Terms of Service

Welcome to GetAmbassadors. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform": The GetAmbassadors website and services
  • "Creator": A user who creates content for brand collaborations
  • "Brand": A user who engages creators for marketing campaigns
  • "Collaboration": A contractual arrangement between a Brand and Creator
  • "Content": Any media created as part of a Collaboration

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You must have legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • One account per person or entity

3. Platform Services

GetAmbassadors provides:

  • Creator discovery and search tools
  • Campaign management features
  • Secure messaging between users
  • Payment processing and escrow services
  • Content review and approval workflows
  • Analytics and reporting

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Platform Fee

GetAmbassadors charges a 5% platform fee on all collaboration payments. This fee is deducted from the creator's payment.

  • Brand pays agreed amount → Platform holds in escrow
  • Upon content approval → 95% to Creator, 5% to Platform

4.2 Subscription Plans

  • Free: Basic features, limited campaigns
  • Pro (€49/month): Unlimited campaigns, advanced analytics
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing, dedicated support

4.3 Payment Processing

  • All payments processed through Stripe
  • Creators must connect a valid payout method
  • Payouts processed within 7 business days of approval
  • Currency: EUR (base), with automatic conversion

5. Creator Obligations

As a Creator, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate profile information and metrics
  • Complete accepted collaborations on time
  • Deliver original content meeting brief requirements
  • Disclose sponsored content per FTC/EU guidelines
  • Not engage in fake followers or engagement manipulation
  • Maintain connected social accounts in good standing

6. Brand Obligations

As a Brand, you agree to:

  • Provide clear campaign briefs and requirements
  • Respond to content submissions within 5 business days
  • Fund collaborations before creators begin work
  • Not request content that violates platform guidelines
  • Respect creator intellectual property rights

7. Content Rights

7.1 Creator Rights

Creators retain ownership of their content. By delivering content, creators grant brands a license as specified in the collaboration agreement.

7.2 License Types

  • Organic Only: Brand may repost on their owned channels
  • Paid Ads: Brand may use in paid advertising
  • Exclusive: Creator may not work with competing brands
  • Perpetual: Unlimited usage duration

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
  • Share login credentials or access
  • Post false, misleading, or harmful content
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use automated tools to scrape or spam
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights

8.1 Account Sharing Policy

Each subscription license is personal and non-transferable. Account sharing is strictly prohibited and undermines the security of our platform.

You may NOT:

  • Share your login credentials (email/password) with others
  • Allow multiple individuals to access your account simultaneously
  • Use automated tools, browser extensions, or scripts to share access
  • Create shared "team accounts" that circumvent per-seat licensing
  • Transfer your account access to another person or entity

Detection

We employ security measures to detect potential account sharing, including monitoring of:

  • Login patterns from multiple geographic locations
  • Simultaneous sessions from different devices
  • Unusual access patterns inconsistent with single-user behavior
  • Use of VPNs, proxies, or anonymization tools for access

Unusual activity may trigger security alerts and require re-authentication.

Consequences

Violation of the account sharing policy will result in:

  • First violation: Warning notification and 7-day grace period to comply
  • Second violation: Account suspension for 7 days
  • Third violation: Permanent account termination with no refund

Team Access

For legitimate team access needs, please upgrade to a plan with multiple seats. Team plans include volume discounts of up to 30% for larger teams. Contact [email protected] for team pricing.

9. Disputes

9.1 Between Users

If a dispute arises between a Brand and Creator, we encourage resolution through our messaging system. For unresolved disputes, GetAmbassadors may mediate at our discretion.

9.2 Escrow Disputes

If content is not delivered or does not meet requirements, Brands may request a refund. We will review evidence and make a determination within 14 days.

10. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time
  • Active collaborations must be completed or cancelled
  • We may suspend accounts for Terms violations
  • Pending payouts will be processed before closure

11. Limitation of Liability

GetAmbassadors is a platform connecting brands and creators. We are not responsible for:

  • Quality of content delivered by creators
  • Brand campaign performance or ROI
  • User conduct outside our platform
  • Third-party service outages (Stripe, social platforms)

Our liability is limited to fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify GetAmbassadors against claims arising from your use of the platform, content you create, or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state where GetAmbassadors is registered. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
